Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) has released the list of candidates appearing for the Academic Writing Test (AWT) and Personal Interview (PI). The list has been prepared on the basis of CAT 2014 result which was announced on December, 27, 2015. Overseas candidates have also been selected for AWT and PI on the basis of Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) scores. Other factors considered during the preparation of the list are academic performance of candidates in 10th and 12th standard as well as bachelors' degree examination.

Clearing AWT and PI would enable the candidate to get into post graduate program in management (PGP 2015-2017 batch), IIM A. IIM A can only accommodate top 1% of applicants. It only recognizes exceptional performers across diverse academic backgrounds, from each of the academic disciplines, top 50 or top 1% applicants are shortlisted by IIM Ahmedabad, and whichever is lesser, for AWT & PI on the basis of their CAT percentiles.

AWT and PI will be conducted by IIM Ahmedabad in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and New Delhi/NCR. Applicants short-listed for AWT and PI will be intimated by registered post.
